This complete gut renovation of an existing 2,400 sq. ft. home, included construction of a 2,200 sq. ft addition along with an 800 sq. ft. wraparound porch, second floor and third floor terraces, flat work, and landscaping. The Dutch colonial roof and Douglas fir were the inspiration for the overall design. The Douglas fir inspired a 10'6" diameter concave radius to avoid damaging tree roots. This was then complemented with a 10'6" convex radius from which the rest of the design evolved.
